Paul Sefton set out to transform an unused corner of the garden into a practical and stylish new space. His vision was clear: the project had to deliver durability, require minimal upkeep, and achieve a premium finish, creating the perfect environment for his children to enjoy as they grew up.
Durability, Style and Low Maintenance
Paul’s priorities were clear from the beginning. He was willing to invest in the space to achieve a premium, luxury finish without the hassle of regular upkeep. The garden room would be an aesthetically pleasing addition to the garden while providing extra space for his growing family. SAM Trimax was chosen for the cladding for its modern appeal that would create a durable space requiring little maintenance for years to come.
Alternative materials were proposed initially – “We didn’t really feel that they were going to be the quality that we wanted the end finish to look like”, says Paul, “We wanted a wooden project, and we wanted a premium finish in the end, so that’s why we decided to go for SAM Trimax.”
Decorative Cladding
SAM Trimax provided the perfect balance between aesthetic appeal and functional durability. With a sleek double shiplap design in modern Anthracite Grey, Paul’s choice of cladding blended seamlessly into the garden space while standing out for its contemporary design. With a 50-year lifespan on the board, this cladding is resistant to rot and decay, ensuring stability even in harsh weather conditions. Unlike the alternative materials Paul considered, SAM Trimax was the low-maintenance option which would retain its finish with minimal upkeep over time.
A premium, standout space
The result says it all. Paul managed to achieve a sleek, modern garden room that would retain its finish for years to come.
Paul said, “We’ve invested in the product; it’s a premium product. It’s low maintenance and over time we will reap our rewards.”
